Free pizza and garbage picking

I am full of pizza right now. FREE pizza. The best kind. My work fed everyone today for some moral-boosting reason. I ran to the thriftshop on my lunch break but I rushed back because otherwise the only thing that would be left is the two nasty pizza's that no one eats: The 'white' pizza and the broccoli pizza.

I myself had a couple slices of 'piles of dead animals' pizza. It was full of sausage and hamburger chunks and god knows what else. I chewed it blissfully. Luckily I am back on the nexium pills so I will not get any stomach acid. Nexium is amazing. I bet I could chug battery acid.

Last night after work I buzzed over to my friend Mike's house to pick up some extra concrete he had laying around. I could not help but notice a console television in the neighbor's garbage. Since I had the truck with me the television console ended up in the back of my truck.

I am an unabashed garbage picker. If I see something interesting in someone's garbage I will grab it. Granted if it's in my own neighborhood (or my parents) I might wait for the cover of darkness before I dart over and make off with some cast-off delight. However for the most part if I see something that even remotely piques my interest I make off with it. The best thing about it is if I do not want it or it turns out to be more broken then I thought I could just toss it into my own garbage.

If it's a larger object I might take a moment to inspect it. Once I spied out a roll-up desk at someone's curb that looked sort of spiffy. So I pulled up to check it out. I was about to load it up when after a moment's thought I decided to look inside. I rolled up the desk top and dwelling within was a colony of roaches so large it could have populated some third world country. I leapt back jumped in my truck and sped away before they dragged me into the desk and slammed the roll top down forever cutting me off from the light of day.

I brought the tv home and plugged it in and it did not turn on. How surprising. Something I pulled from the garbage did not work. I did not even recognize the manufacturer. I'll poke with it to see if I can get anything useful out of it then I'll haul it to the dump myself. Perhaps before I leave I'll throw a brick at the picture tube just to hear that delightful pop. Yes... smashing things can be fun.

Afterwards I made myself a dinner of some hash and eggs and watch 'DOOM' on pay per view. I was not expecting much and my expectations were fulfilled. I watched most of it for the heck of it. Running around and shooting at hideous creatures is always fun to watch. However after a while I grew bored and went and took a bath. I really like that orange and ginger bubble bath I had picked up. I need to go to biglots and buy out their entire supply.

Raking leaves is my main agenda for this weekend. I wish I could use a burn barrel.
