Circuit bent and shrimp
I am tired this morning. It was just one of those nights where I simply could not get any sleep. I kept waking up every hour or so for various reasons. I think it might have been the shrimp I had for dinner. I made myself a huge mound of them and chowed down on them while watching TV. A cat sat expectantly at my side as I occasionally tossed a shrimp across the room for him to hunt down, kill, and eat. Hopefully he found them all.

It's actually rather cheap, but it looks cool, so I suppose that's what matters. It only took 10 minutes for someone to bid the 20-dollar minimum. Hopefully it will go much higher. The keyboard was 3 dollars from thirftko and the TV was free, so it did not really cost me anything except time to build. If I had more time I would have given it a cool paintjob, however I was getting sick of working on it and just wanted to finish it. It was annoying me because twice I put it back together only to find that some connection I had soldered was not working, so I had to pull the entire thing apart again.
There is a tool on the web called the 'overture search term suggestion tool'. It is a tool for buying keywords. It takes data from google and yahoo. You type in a keyword and it tells you how many times that keyword was searched the month before, along with some other suggestions. Curious, yesterday at work I wrote a little program that would take a dictionary word file and roll down it, plugging in a word and then recording the results in a database. I let it run all night, and when I got in this morning the dictionary file was only up to 'forehead' but the keyword file had collected about 700,000 search terms. The results were pretty interesting. 'home depot' actually got more hits than 'boob'. The term with the most searches I got was '50 cent' with 1,795,234 searches last month.
A lot of terms are interesting form a marketing view. 'crib bedding' got 302,392 searches. I'm not even sure what crib bedding is, but it must be popular considering 'real estate loan' only got 178,692 searches. I am going to let this program run some more tonight until I get at least 1 million keywords. Maybe someone on ebay will shell out a few bucks for it.
Not much else going on at the moment. New ghost hunters are on tonight. That is pretty much going to be the highlight of my day. Kinda sad.
