Outdoor shower and weekend update
I locked my keys in the car this morning. Again. I manage to do this every couple of months. So on my next break I have to do my little trick I learned to get into my car and get my keys. No
I won’t tell you how it’s done
but it does involve the car antenna and brute strength.
I hit a thirftshop over the weekend. I was looking for some plumbing supplies for my outdoor shower
but they did not have anything in the way of what I needed. They did have a cool deep blue futuristic looking toilet there. It looked like some sort of spaceship toilet. I might snag it if it’s still around when I remodel my other bathroom.
I ended up buying one of those I-zone cameras. They kind that take little instant photos that you can peel and stick. I wanted to get one because they do not make them anymore
and it only cost me two dollars. Alas
when I went to get some film this morning
I ended up buying the wrong kind. It really annoyed me because I did not know there WAS any other sort of instant sticky film. I bought three boxes of the crap. Now it will be cheaper for me to buy the other camera than it would to buy new film.
So I spent most of the weekend working on my outdoor shower. Below you can see some pics of its construction. It is just about finished; all I need to do now is to buy the hardware for it. I have been looking on ebay for exposed shower fixtures already assembled. Plumbing can be pretty expensive. The cheapest one I saw that would suit my purpose was around 40 dollars. I might have to shop around a bit before I decide on what I want. I am looking forward to getting this finished. The weather was perfect this morning for an outdoor shower.

even if this morning I did find a big cat paw print smushed into it.
Nothing else exciting went on this weekend. Saturday I dropped in the Hen for a couple of pints. The bartender told me she banned some idiot who used to go in there (the one who worked briefly at my work and thought I was from Israel) because it turned out he was actually using his brother’s passport and was underage. That made my day.
Last night I had some red wine and ate a shark steak for dinner. I really like shark steak. It’s got the texture of beef and I can eat it with ketchup. I need to make it on the grill sometime. FOX TV then insulted me by showing some idiot new show called ‘The loop’. I watched it simply because I was waiting for the next show. It was moronic. Young board member is given control of an airline
so he is going to turn it into a PARTY! AIRLINES! WOO! X-TREME!’ and of course the stuffy old board member thinks he is a genius because of it. I could have puked.
I don’t know what is up for this week. I have not thought about it. I think I’ll just tune it out.
